As we mentioned a few weeks back, the mayor’s looking to get Dallas residents to turn out the lights for a solid hour Saturday night, beginning at 8:30, as part of the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour 2009. Initially, only the downtown skyline was scheduled for the blackout, but Meranda Cohn at City Hall has sent along a list of buildings scheduled to participate — and among ’em you’ll find the West Village, where AFI Dallas International Film Festival’s set to screen several films at the Magnolia during the blackout, including the highly anticipated The Hurt Locker, so, ya know, that should be interesting.
After the jump, the entire list of participating buildings — and skyline icons, including a certain flying red horse — thus far. So’s ya don’t get scared the night the lights go out.
