It figures that one of our final items of 2007 would deal with sports radio — though, to be fair, it has nothing to do with KTCK-AM (1310, The Ticket). Well, not really, though if memory serves former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin did used to have a weekly show on The Ticket (with “The Hardline,” no less). But today comes word that Irvin has a regular radio gig elsewhere — with ESPN’s Dallas affiliate at 103.3 on your FM dial.

Starting January 10, the Hall of Famer and former baller-turned-‘caster Kevin Kiley will hold down the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. slot. Says the station’s program director, Tom Lee, in a media release today: “To say we are thrilled to have Michael and Kevin join our team would be an understatement.” –Robert Wilonsky
