On last week’s episode of NBC’s Parks and Recreation, Rob Lowe’s muscular chest asked character Ron Swanson: “you ever tried a turkey burger?” Swanson responded: “Is that a fried turkey leg inside a grilled hamburger? If so, yes. Delicious.”

Being “Burger Week 2011” over there at Eater, and, you know, all around geniuses, the staff decided to take Ron Swanson’s fictional concept and make it a salty reality: the world’s (presumably) first turkey-leg-inside-a-burger burger. Much props, Eater. And throwing a Lone Star into the mix? Nice. Damn, they even have a recipe.
