$10,000

Halloween’s a good two months away–almost two-and-a-half months off, actually–but, since area booking agents never seem to sleep, we’re already seeing some pretty impressive lineups get tossed together for the holiday.

Among them? A hipster’s delight at the Granada, for one, featuring two Austin-based GorillaVsBear favorites, White Denim and, if we’re being honest, the essentially Dallas-based (for now) and much-buzzed Neon Indian. Kind of a waste, though, as I thought every night was dress-up night for hipsters. Hmmm.

Meanwhile, a different kind of dress-up set–which is to say, teenagers who really like wearing neon colors–will no doubt be flocking to Grand Prairie on All Hallow’s Eve for Third String Productions‘ Nokia Theatre show with Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, Cobra Starship, We The Kings, The Maine and others.

There will no doubt be more shows to come, though, so if these prospects scare you, don’t fret, your time will come. With any luck.
