The sometimes-area-based wordsmith known as Astronautalis is celebrating his birthday today, and is doing so with the release of a brand-spanking-new music video for the song “The Wondersmith and His Sons,” off of his still-great 2008-released album, Pomegranate. It’s kind of a chilling watch, this new video, too, as SMU grad born Andy Bothwell gets dragged across a solemn, concrete landscape toward a fiery death. Worth the watch for sure, if only because it serves as yet another excuse to be captivated by Astronautalis’ always impressive lyricism. Check it out after the jump.
