Looks like the Dentonites in Neon Indian are back with another weird original video. This time, it’s a stop-motion piece, created by multimedia artist Joao Machado. Unlike their previous video, though, this one is not sponsored by Mountain Dew. But it’s equally trippy.
Here’s the gist of it: A two-legged spider emerges from a potato-like Easter egg, weaves a cocoon, and comes out as a giant black widow with beady eyes and the ability to make flowers bloom. And that’s pretty much it. It’s pretty out-there stuff, but I guess that’s the way they do it in Alan Palomo’s camp? Looks it.
Another thing Palomo does? He and his friends will stop by the Granada Theater in Dallas for a hometown gig on Tuesday, October 5. And, according to the band’s MySpace page, they’ll be coming with a “special guest.” So, there you go.
