Fort Worth’s The Burning Hotels are on a serious roll of late, what with their Bandslam performance and their song appearing on the movie soundtrack and all that.

And now come the perks.

As the song “Stuck in the Middle” appears on the soundtrack, in the movie, and on the band’s debut EP, the song is a Bravery-esque dance-rock jam that’s pretty catchy in its own right. But as NYC/LA/SF-based remix producer Baron Von Luxxury re-imagines it, though, it’s a VEGA-esque nu-disco dance jam. Same goes for the above, Club VJ-ready video for the remix, created by the same folks who handled the band’s far simpler “Austin’s Birthday” video that debuted a few weeks back. Definitely worth a watch and a listen.

(Hat tip.)
