All week, it was: Gonna rain, then get cold, then hell will freeze over. Then, this morning: Not so much. Lots of rain, no ice. Now The Dallas Morning News has just updated its weekend weather story with this quote from Dan Huckaby, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service: “Things will be colder than previously expected. There will likely be freezing rain in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex as early as (Saturday) morning.” Dallas might get added to the winter storm watch list as early as this afternoon. The story even mentions, like, possible power outages.
