Hadn’t thought of the former Dallas Mavericks center in years — certainly, not since his retirement from the National Basketball Association in 2005. Who knew the way-too-longtime Mav was running for a seat in the Utah House of Representatives? But, sure enough: “I have been fortunate in life to use the attention I naturally get to help others,” Bradley wrote on his campaign website. “With your support, I will get our district the attention it needs and be a strong voice at the capital.” Alas, he lost to the incumbent Democrat, Erick Dampier.
