Melissa “Metalissa” Guerrero, a transplant from Seattle, has contributed to the Dallas Observer as a freelancer since August 2025. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and was an educator for seven years. If she’s not at a metal show, Melissa is probably on a nature walk looking for critters.
