Even with the stream of talent that has come from Chicago’s revered improv school The Second City (Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Amy Sedaris), it takes a minute to sink in that it’s been around for more than 50 years. Last fall, the Wyly Theater hosted The Second City Does Dallas, which poked fun at our sports teams and our mayor. Now, Second City’s Improv All Stars are taking on Denton, at UNT’s Murchison Performing Arts Center (2100 Interstate 35 Frontage Road), albeit with a less regionally focused night of improvisation. Be prepared: As with most improv shows, the audience will be asked for suggestions to start a scene. Make ’em count. Tickets are $10 for the general public; $5 for UNT faculty, staff and alumni; and free for UNT students with school ID. Show starts at 8 p.m. Monday. Call 940-369-7802 or visit thempac.com/tickets to purchase.
