What has Paul Reiser been doing lately? That’s no doubt a question that causes you to wake up in a cold sweat at 2 a.m. So, to soothe your anxious heart: The actor/comedian/author/Mad About You star attempted another TV run with 2011’s The Paul Reiser Show, which only aired two episodes before being unceremoniously axed, and will be featured in Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming Liberace biopic for HBO, Behind the Candelabra. However, at Hyena’s Comedy Night Club (5321 E. Mockingbird Lane) this weekend, he’ll be returning to his stand-up comedy roots, with a show at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets cost $18.50.
