The kind of walk we usually take on Saturday mornings involves last night’s clothes and a severe case of shame and regret. This week, we’re gonna give fitness for a good cause a try instead. The 15th annual Run, Walk and Roll, benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of North Texas, includes a 5K run and a 1K walk and wheelchair roll through the streets of Dallas. A post-race party will feature music, face painting, balloon artists and more, and money raised helps people with cerebral palsy lead more active and independent lives. Race day registration begins at 7 a.m.; the race starts at 8 a.m. at Reverchon Park, 3505 Maple Ave. For more information call 214-247-4569 or visit ucprunwalkroll.org.
