No one who goes to a Lisa Lampanelli show has the right to complain that they were offended by her material. Her numerous TV specials offer plenty of warnings that her material isn’t for sensitive viewers or people who enjoy writing angry letters to PR people. That would be like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz complaining about how spooky that forest is, even after she passed all those damn signs. Lampanelli proudly relishes the tradition of the insult comic, carrying the torch and raising it as high as the concept will go. She relentlessly skewers anyone who comes into her field of vision, regardless of their race, sex or appearance. No one is safe from her sharp, caustic wit — not even the people who paid to get into the damn theater. And that’s the way her fans like it. If you don’t, stay the hell away from the Majestic Theatre (1925 Elm St.) at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $39.50. More information at ticketmaster.com
