It’s not easy for teens under the age of 21 to find excitement in Deep Ellum, especially when they don’t have a fake ID (which most likely won’t do them any good anyway). Knowing this, Big Thought put together an all-ages event in the heart of Deep Ellum called DaVerse Lounge. The Dallas-based spoken word and art event is specifically for kiddos 21 and under, although anybody may attend. The event boasts live spoken word performances, DJs and visual art. DaVerse Lounge takes place at Life in Deep Ellum, (2803 Taylor Street) from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, March 9 and is free and open to the public.
