Song titles like “When Christmas Was Only A Little Depressing” and “I Don’t Want Your Stupid Salad” tell you pretty much all you need to know in deciding whether Boogdish is up your alley or not. Depending on your mood, a one-man punk band playing poppy guitar riffs and screaming about junk food and seasonal affective disorder over hyper-speed drum tracks could be either excruciatingly annoying or just the thing to put a smile on your face. “Fuck That Breakdancing Dog,” in which singer/instrumentalist Michael Barton begs you not to encourage his dog’s unauthorized dance moves, is especially fun.
