They’re fast, sleek and beautiful. And for one night at least, they pair perfectly with a good merlot. We coul be talking about the latest tabloid princesses, but instead, we’re talking about Greyhounds, the debutantes of the doggie world. The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT) and Premier Wines present a wine and food event that benefits GALT and includes a wine glass and an engraver to personalize wine bottles, glasses and more. The event is at 7 p.m. Friday at Premier Wines, 4709 W. Parker Road, Plano. Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance. Call 972-503-GALT or visit galtx.org.
