Cedric Delsaux’s Star Wars on Earth photo series shows characters from the Star Wars movies (Episodes IV through VI, the ones that didn’t suck) in modern Paris. The backdrops generally seem gritty and moody, like a parking garage, and strangely, the characters look right at home. There’ll be a junked car, some litter and R2-D2, and it doesn’t seem incongruous at all. After the opening reception 5:30 p.m. Saturday, the exhibit is available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays through May 3 at Conduit Gallery, 1626 C Hi Line Drive in Dallas. For more info, call 214-939-2353 or visit conduitgallery.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: April 3. Continues through May 3, 2008
