Volumes have been written about life’s roads, especially when related to matters of the heart. You can only choose one road at a time and hope that you chose the best one. But what if you could somehow travel those roads the minute you met someone? Life, aging, your partner’s death—all of these things are inevitable when you choose a companion, no matter who you choose. It’s an easy question to answer at love at first sight, but what if you experienced those milestones all in fast-forward from the first mediocre date? Television writer David Schulner pens for the stage to explore this possibility in An Infinite Ache, which runs 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays (with a 2 p.m. matinee January 26) at the Cox Building Playhouse, 1517 Ave. H in Plano. through February 9. Admission is $15 to $18. Call 972-849-0358 or visit roverdramawerks.com.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sat., Jan. 26, 2 p.m. Starts: Jan. 17. Continues through Feb. 9, 2008
