Reeves, remember, turned down the offensive coordinator’s gig with the San Francisco 49ers to serve as a consultant to head coach Wade Phillips and owner Jerry Jones.

Two days on the job and – poof – Reeves bolted.

Why?

Because Reeves is a football guy who likes to win, not a bullshit guy who likes to be popular.

Because, guarantee, Reeves didn’t see eye-to-philosophical-eye with Jones.

And because of, you guessed it, Terrell Owens.
