Mexican Summer and Gorilla vs. Bear’s SXSW party yesterday had quite a lineup: White Denim, Fresh & Onlys, Grimes, No Joy, Toro Y Moi and Cass McCombs–who received a lot of buzz in 2009 with his damn good album Catacombs.
It was a busy day, but McCombs performance was definitely a highlight of the many day parties we attended.
If you’re in Austin, like right now, you can catch McCombs at the Fader Fort at 2:15–if they’re on time over there. In the meantime, check out the above video of McCombs’s song “Prima Donna” at GVB’s Klub Krucial party.
