Trees celebrated its one-year anniversary this weekend with some help from Otep and Fair to Midland, the latter of which was one of the first to play the storied Deep Ellum venue when it re-opened last August.

And, no surprise here, the place was packed, even on a busy night that also saw Airline’s last show at the Double Wide and the Ace McNeely memorial show at City Tavern. Hey, $1 tickets tend to have that effect.
