The beloved California burger chain, which Ice Cube swears is part of a good day (even at “two in the mornin'”), has opened its first Dallas location, along with sister brand Buffalo’s Express.

This new Dallas spot brings the total count to three across North Texas, with one each in Allen and Arlington.

Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express (a twofer) is located at Preston Hollow Village (7949 Walnut Hill Lane) a growing commercial and residential complex at the northwest corner of Highway 75 and Walnut Hill Lane with a Trader Joe’s and more than a dozen restaurants and cafes.

A grand opening will be held on Nov. 22, starting at 10:30 a.m. The first 100 customers will receive a free Original Fatburger.

What to Order

This Hollywood hotspot is renowned for its grilled burgers. They use lean freshly ground beef, which is cooked to order and served on a toasted sponge dough bun.

The first Fatburger opened in Los Angeles in 1947 by Lovie Yancey.

If you check it out, lean into the add-ons section, which includes bacon, eggs, chili and onion rings. They also have a 1,000 Island Burger, a Skinnyburger (two patties as the bun), an Impossible Burger and a Turkeyburger.

The Works burger is the introductory experience and comes with all the basics (LTO, mayo, mustard, pickles and relish).

It’s been a minute, but the couple of times I’ve had Fatburger in Arlington, it’s been really good.
