We recently wrote about Milagro Tacos Cantina’s bright new patio, redesigned space and transition to a table-service style restaurant. The restaurant from Jesus Cramona is a taqueria that has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It’s also a local favorite, known for upscale technique applied to street food. The La Costra taco — salmon swaddled in melted cheese — should have a statue in its honor. In addition to the space, the menu has also expanded to include mole taquitos and fajitas.
Late Wednesday night, a car driving along Singleton Boulevard crashed through the restaurant’s patio. Reports from the restaurant are that no one was hurt in the incident.
Nearby business Singleton Tattoo commented on an early post on DallasTexas_Tv that the wreck isn’t a shock:
“honestly surprised it’s taken this long for one of our businesses to get hit like this with the way people drive on Singleton”
To which jr5electricallc replied “crazyyyyy.”
So, let’s slow down on Singleton. For the tacos, if nothing else.
Milagro Tacos Cantina is still open.
The Dallas Police Department shared the details of the incident report. The accident happened on March 11, 2026, at about 8:55 p.m.: “Dallas Police responded to an accident call in the 500 block of Singleton Boulevard. The preliminary investigation determined the driver lost control of a vehicle, hit another vehicle, and then ran into a building. There were no injuries reported. The driver was taken into custody. This investigation is ongoing.”
The restaurant shared a video of the accident scene:
