Boxcar’s Tulum-Inspired Immersive Cocktail Experience

This season, Boxcar, the boutique train-car-inspired cocktail bar on Greenville Avenue, invites guests to escape into its newest immersive concept, a transportive jungle-inspired experience influenced by the beauty, mystery, and energy of Tulum and the Mayan Riviera.

Known for its distinctive design that makes guests feel as though they’ve boarded a vintage luxury railcar, Boxcar has once again transformed its intimate 996-square-foot interior into a completely new environment. This latest concept surrounds guests with hanging canopies of lush greenery and cascading florals suspended from the ceiling, creating the sensation of traveling deep through the jungles of Tulum. By night, the glowing green installations illuminate the moody space, blending tropical energy with Boxcar’s signature intimate atmosphere.

Behind the bar, Scotty and co-owner Carlos Angel have created a new themed cocktail menu inspired by tropical flavors, sunsets, and the mystique of the jungle. Signature cocktails include:

• Phoenix Rising, featuring coconut fat-washed tequila, passion fruit, hibiscus, and citrus
• El Ocaso, featuring Ford’s gin, pea flower, lichi, and lemongrass
• Cease & Desist, Reyka vodka, cream soda, and butterscotch foam

Guests are encouraged to visit soon, as this limited-time themed experience will only be available for a short stay before Boxcar unveils its next imaginative destination.
