Dive into a glittery vat of Prohibition Tuesday and experience one of Broadway’s steamiest and longest-running musicals, Chicago. Gals, glitz and greed — along with the occasional homicide — will all keep you glued to the stage. The story revolves around headline hunters Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly who are killing it with the media. They’re on trial, sure, and murder is the charge. Fortunately the lovelies have a little help from their lawyer Billy Flynn (John O’Hurley) — he’ll fight for their freedom and their fame. The production will call the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Winspear Opera House (2403 Flora St.) home through August 26. Tickets start at $30 and go up for this 8 p.m. Show. Visit attpac.org.

Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: Aug. 16. Continues through Aug. 26, 2012
