French leprechauns, or “Lutins,” are way more hip than regular leprechauns. They won’t lead you to a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, but rather to a dose of culture by way of a movie screen. The little guys have finally made their way to Dallas to bring us another tiny treasure: the short film. Alliance Francaise of North Texas and the McKinney Avenue Contemporary present Les Lutins du Court-Metrage, a festival showcasing the best short films to come out of France in the past year. The mini movies are shown in two-hour blocks throughout the week at the MAC (3120 McKinney Ave.). Show times are 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $5 for MAC members and $7 for non-members. For more information, visit the-mac.org/fsff.
