Despite Dallas’ lack of a winter this year, Mockingbird Station is welcoming the spring season on Thursday with its annual What To Wear Spring Fashion Show. The vacation-themed runway show will showcase seasonal outfits from a few Mockingbird Station shops including American Apparel, Francesca’s Collections, LOFT, Movida, Relatively Outdoors, Sample This! And Urban Outfitters. The event will be sound-tracked by a DJ, bites will be provided by Rockfish and The People’s Last Stand will serve up cocktails for all the lushes disguised as fashionistas. A panel of local fashion-notables, including Lisa Petty, editor of DFW Style Daily will judge the audience members style, and prizes will awarded to the “most creative” and “most chic” “beach looks” — we suggest showing up in a full-body bikini T-shirt, or a muscle man T-shirt, maybe even the kind that has a nipple ring attached. It’s a surefire way to impress the judges. The event takes place from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the pool in the The Lofts building, 5331 East Mockingbird Lane.
