$10,000

I’m normally pretty reserved, but by the end of the night I first met Scotty “Crazy Picture Guy” Mankoff, I was wearing a papier mâché goat’s head and holding a Ouija board in one hand and a walking stick in the other at a nightclub as he took dozens of pictures. I still don’t know how he talked me into it, except that he made the whole ridiculous thing seem like it would be really fun. And it was. Ten Four Good Buddy shows highlights from Mankoff’s nightly documentation of the Dallas music, art and club scene. The free exhibit is available from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays until October 11 at Kettle Art, 2714 Elm St. Call 214-573-7622.

Thursdays-Saturdays, 7-10 p.m. Starts: Oct. 4. Continues through Oct. 11, 2008
