If love were a meal, how many courses would you want? I think I’d just want one—dessert. Or maybe an appetizer and some dessert. We should probably throw a couple of cocktails in to break the ice. Anyways, dessert for sure. (Ben & Jerry’s or Pokey-O’s will do just fine, lovers.) The musical Five-Course Love obviously takes a different approach, following 15 characters on song-and-dance dinner dates as imagined by playwright Gregg Coffin, whose previous works include Convenience, The Snow Queen and East of the Sun/West of the Moon. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays, 3 and 8 p.m. Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through March 15 at the Circle Theatre, 230 W. Fourth St. Tickets are $20 to $25, $25 to $30 for Friday and Saturday evening performances. Call 817-877-3040 or visit circletheatre.com.
Fridays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 3 & 8 p.m.; Sundays, 3 p.m.; Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: Feb. 29. Continues through March 15, 2008
