It’s about that time of year again. With fall comes October and with October comes–that’s right, you guessed it–Halloween. So for all you ghostly guys and gals who enjoy the traditional pumpkin carving, you might want to save a nice round one for the Headless Horseman. It has been said you can find him in the Company of Rowlett Performers’ production of Sleepy Hollow. In this Washington Irving classic, odd ball Ichabad Crane moves to the farming town of Sleepy Hollow in search of a potential blushing bride. When he falls in love with Katrina Van Tassel, Crane finds a bit more than he bargains for, including Tassel’s jealous boyfriend, Brom Bones, and yes, that Headless Horseman we mentioned earlier. Performances are at 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m Thursday and Friday, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Granville Arts Center, 300 N. Fifth St. Tickets are $8 to $10. For more information call 972-977-7710.
Oct. 15-16, 9:30 a.m. & 1 p.m.; Sat., Oct. 17, 7:30 p.m.; Sun., Oct. 18, 2 p.m., 2009
