The Cleveland Police Department is something else. At Bone Thugs-N-Harmony‘s hometown show on March 29, they arrested Flesh-N-Bone, who has only been out of the state pen since July 2008, for allegedly hitting his mother with a gun. The kicker: the incident supposedly happened more than a decade ago! Did Flesh know he had a warrant? No. Was the crowd pissed? Yes. Do Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have warrants in Dallas? Mercy, I hope not. They are booked to perform at the House of Blues on April 21. We can forgive the scheduling gods for making it a Wednesday night, because the reunion tour supporting the new album–Uni5: The World’s Enemy, due out April 27–is worth a bleary day at work Thursday. The album’s got their signature brand of singsong-y hip-hop, though longtime, cult-like fans might find it a bit too polished. But hello! Just the chance to hear some of their classics is reason enough. General admission is $25. There’re three other shows in Texas before they head to Tulsa. For more information, visit houseofblues.com.
