In case you didn’t get enough soccer action during the World Cup (yeah, right), one of the most popular soccer teams in Mexico is coming to town Wednesday night to take on our beloved Hoops, which is what FC Dallas calls themselves for some strange reason (their mascot is a bull). Tigres UANL, a former Mexican national champion team, finds themselves in the middle of the standings down south, while FC Dallas sits atop the MLS Western Conference, despite losing three in a row as of press time, including an embarrassing 3-0 trouncing to lowly Chivas USA. Because the two teams play in different leagues, this game won’t count for anything except bragging rights. Action kicks off at 7:30 p.m. way up in Frisco at Pizza Hut Park.
