I’ve never personally owned a greyhound, but they run so fast they have a bus line named after them, and that’s good enough for me. This Saturday, the Deep Ellum Foundation and the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT) are teaming up to bring you the Deep Ellum Pup Crawl and Poker Run, which is gonna be a blast for man and beast alike. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. at Bark Park Central (at the southwest corner of Good-Latimer Expressway and Commerce Street). It costs $25 per person, which includes goodies, and then you and your pup hit up dog-friendly patios at a variety of joints. Plus, pup crawlers will receive a playing card at each stop, with prizes awarded to players with the best final hands. All breeds are welcome!
