Not going to lie to you here. I’m a big fan. Love me some hot gay men with equally hot voices. I’m speaking, of course, of the Turtle Creek Chorale. The annual TCC fundraiser is this Saturday, June 4, so mark your calendars like I did mine. Cirque! Anything Goes! is the theme and Edison’s is the venue. Should be some tasteful swinging from equally tasteful rafters.
You can expect all of the usual suspects, including silent and live auctions, an open bar; and bites. The event also features a premium wine pull, a golden ticket raffle, a VIP reception and preview and entertainment from the Chorale’s smaller ensemble group Encore! General admission tickets are still available for $50 here.

6. “Favorite One”
It’s silly, but so cute. Tim Seelig and the Turtle Creek Chorale in the annual holiday concert.
5. “Seal Lullaby”
Love the lyrics: “The storm shall not wake thee, nor shark overtake thee/ Asleep in the arms of the slow-swinging seas.”
4. “The First Noel”
This has got to be one of the most beautiful renditions of “The First Noel.” Amazing.
3. Randall Thompson’s Testament Of Freedom, “Movement 1”
So powerful. TCC, the US Army Chorus and Dallas Wind Symphony all performing together at the Meyerson.
2. “Lean On Me”
Special guest Jennifer Holliday performs “Lean on Me” with TTC. No need to say more.
1. It Gets Better
If you don’t cry, you need to watch it again. A Night for Peace honored young people who committed suicide because being closeted was too horrible to face and coming out didn’t seem like an option.
