Hopeless romantics, boo’d-up couples and singles are all preparing for (or dreading) the weekend of love in February.
Aside from the obvious Valentine’s Day events, like the Leela’s Wine Bar pop-up and a special menu at almost every restaurant in the city (yes, even Waffle House), we looked around for some cool and unique ways to spend your Valentine’s week.

Make those reservations now, but consider adding these interesting Valentine’s Day events in Dallas to celebrate love, or the lack thereof.
Saturday, Feb. 8
Cupid’s Undie Run
Barcadia, 1917 N. Henderson Ave. Everyone can spend Valentine’s Day pantless at the Cupid’s Undie Run on Saturday, Feb. 8. This run is organized to raise money for NF, a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. Their slogan is “run a mile(ish) in your undies because kicking NF’s butt is worth the chilly cheeks.” Tickets to join the no-pants party are $45 per person.
Lower Greenville Cupid Crawl Popular
Instagram account Dallasites101 is having a crawl. Dallasites101 has hosted this Lower Greenville Cupid Crawl for eight years, and claims to “know for a fact that Cupid has struck on the crawl in the past.” If you’re hoping this is true for you, you’ll be presented with a relationship status nametag (“taken,” “situationship” or “single”) at check-in, which is at Four Day Weekend Comedy Club, 5601 Sears St. From noon to 5 p.m., enjoy discounts and themed specials at 18 bars across Lower Greenville. Register to attend and receive a makeup bag and beanie with your ticket ($20).

Valentine’s Market
Community Beer Co., 3110 Commonwealth Drive From 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m., bring your friends to vendor market Happily Ever Sip & Shop for the kid- and dog-friendly pop-up at Community Beer Co. You’ll be able to browse handcrafted wares from local businesses and build a bouquet if you’re not expecting gifts and flowers from a special someone. Commemorate the day at the selfie wall. We recommend being conservative at the candy bar to leave room for the themed brunch menu and drink specials. Admission is free, but reservations are recommended.

Make Your Own Valentine’s Cards at the Dallas Contemporary
Dallas Contemporary, 161 Glass St. True to form, the Valentine’s Day celebration (from 6-8 p.m.) at this industrial Design District gallery offers on-trend opportunities to connect and create. You can expect a DIY card-making station and a bouquet bar by award-winning floral designer CONCEPTO. The fragrance influencers behind podcast Fragraphilia and microcinema Spacy will also co-host a perfume swap for attendees, so bring your best scent and be ready for a surprise. Galentine’s at WorldSprings
WorldSprings, 3240 Plano Parkway, The Colony Escape the cold temps by soaking in Over 40 mineral hot spring pools, which take inspiration from all over the globe. We love the 101-degree Hokkaido, a Japan-themed pool for relieving muscle pain. With an onsite spa, Finnish saunas, and cozy cabanas, vibes will be high whether coming with your boo or your best friends – and the BOGO deal means whoever you bring soaks for free. While you’re jamming out to DJ LUV SSIK, let Nina Berenato Bracelet Bar create matching charm jewelry for you and your bestie, or try trucker hats from Hawley Hat Bar if jewels aren’t your style. American Psycho With Director Mary Harron
Texas Theatre, 231 Jefferson Blvd. Though American Psycho isn’t exactly a rom-com, film-nerd couples won’t want to miss this special screening at 7:30 p.m. Oak Cliff’s iconic Texas Theatre, hosted by legendary film critic (and Dallas Observer alum) Matt Zoller Seitz. Hang back after the credits roll for a Q&A session with Mary Harron and Guinevere Turner, the film’s director and screenwriter, respectively. Limited tickets ($20) are still available.
Blade Rave: Valentine’s Day Vampire Ball
RBC, 2617 Commerce St. RBC is recreating the iconic rave scene from the original 1998 Blade movie this Valentine’s Day. Step into the vampire underworld with DJs, movie-themed drinks, photos, entertainers, a midnight blood bath and more. Tickets for 21 and up are $10 not including taxes and fees for the Vampire Ball.
Uchi x Cookie Rich Valentine’s Day Sushi Box
Uchi Dallas, 2817 Maple Ave. Uchi, Uchiko and Uchiba are partnering with Cookie Rich over Valentine’s Day weekend to offer a creative sushi box collaboration. With each sushi box ordered, you’ll receive a special four-pack of Cookie Rich cookies. The pack will feature a fried milk cookie and a coffee cake and an espresso white sugar cookie. Sushi boxes come in three tiers: Ichi ($95), Ni ($195) and San ($295) and can be ordered from any of three Hai Hospitality restaurant websites.
Valentine’s Day Festa
Eataly Dallas at NorthPark Center, 8687 N. Central Expressway On Friday, Feb. 14, Eataly will throw its annual Valentine’s Day Festa. Their all-you-can-eat celebrations are always chock-full of libations and Italian dishes to celebrate the love and friendship in your life. Tickets are $65 per person plus taxes and fees.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Miami Heat
American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave. With Luka and Kyrie back in full swing, the Mavs will bring all the heat to Valentine’s Day weekend. In case you missed it, the arena has all new food as of last fall, like a super-sized Philly cheesesteak sandwich, Bonanno Brother’s pizza, dulce de leche churros and more. Tickets in the 300s (where the real fans sit) are going for $30, a small price compared to one of those expensive Valentine’s Day dinners. See all tickets on Ticketmaster.
Valentine’s Day Mixology w/Hendrick’s
The Exchange Hall, 211 S. Akard St. On Saturday night, head to the AT&T Discovery District’s private bar to craft creative cocktails with Hendrick’s Gin. The interactive experience lets you use expert tips and techniques to craft themed cocktails. Tickets are $40 plus taxes and fees. They’re offering two time slots, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
7-Course Valentine’s Day Tasting Menu
Rye and Apothecary, 1920 Greenville Ave.Award-winning Rye and Apothecary have created a limited-time tasting menu for Valentine’s Day weekend. It’s available only Feb. 13 -15 and will feature Michelin-recognized drink pairings and a specially curated menu at two stunning venues: Rye for a classic vibe and Apothecary for something more romantic. Reserve dinner tickets and see the menu on Tock. It’s priced at $185 plus taxes and gratuity.
Free Movie Night (Half-Price Wine Bottles + Free S’mores)
Halcyon, 2900 Greenville Ave. Halcyon spreads the love year-round in Dallas at free movie nights every Friday, with free s’mores for two and half-price bottles of wine. Check Instagram to learn what films are on tap. Look for other love-related events throughout the month as well.
Valentine’s On Tap
Perot Museum of Nature and Science, 2201 N. Field St. For Valentine’s Day, the Perot Museum is taking its usual Thursdays on Tap tradition and moving it to the weekend. For love’s sake. The event is 21+ only and tickets are $25. Around the museum are food trucks, drink stations and live music to add to the ambiance. Woo your boo with beer and science.
Movie Night
Rooftop Cinema Club, 235 Throckmorton St., Fort Worth Rooftop Cinema Club will mount a mini romance movie marathon all weekend long. 13 Going On 30, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Poetic Justice, La La Land and many other classics will be screened over the weekend. Keep in mind it’s an outdoor cinema on the roof of The Renaissance Hotel. Tickets start at $21, but you definitely want to go with the $40 ticket that includes a loveseat, a wood-burning stove, a hot drink and a blanket.
Hello Kitty Valentine’s Day Paint & Sip
Four Corners Brewing, 1311 S. Ervay St. Four Corners Brewing Company is hosting a Hello Kitty-themed paint and sip on Valentine’s Day. A single admission ticket is $22.50 and a couples’ ticket is two for $40, plus taxes and fees. Four Corners is always fun.
Good Luck, Galentine
Virgin Hotel Dallas, 1445 Turtle Creek Blvd. Dine, sip and yap with the ladies on Tuesday, Feb. 11, for the Good Luck, Galentine’s Day Party. Their love-themed GNO is happening inside Commons Club and includes drink specials, girl dinner and love anthems all night long. A lipsologist will be there to uncover what your kiss says about you, and if you’re lucky, you’ll win one of three major raffle prizes. Reservations are recommended for the event and required to enter the raffle. Food and beverages will be available to purchase inside.
Anti-Valentine’s Day Party

Forget about the mushy-gushy and lose yourself in a selection of both new consoles and vintage arcade games at Round Two’s Anti-Valentine’s Day event. After a win, enjoy the onsite food and drink – and maybe even get a tattoo or tooth gem if you’re feeling adventurous, It starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $5.

Murder Mystery Dinner
Drey Hotel, 5630 Village Glen Drive It’s a fairytale day for the bride and groom – until murder strikes. For the couples, this one’s sure to be a date night to remember; while enjoying a three-course dinner and a complimentary drink, you’ll work with your fellow attendees-slash-detectives to solve the mystery. The murder takes place at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15. Tickets for the 21+ event are $125.
Deep Ellum Mimosa Walk
Deep Ellum Community Center, 2528 Elm St., Suite A.Guided by a map you’ll receive at check-in, get ready for complimentary mimosas at every stop on this self-guided stroll through Deep Ellum, where you can drown your sorrows (or celebrate your singleness). It’s the perfect way to explore all the shops and restaurants the neighborhood has to offer, in addition to the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market. If you overdo it with the drinks, just make your way back to the Topo Chico hydration station. Purchase tickets to reserve your exclusive mimosa glass. From noon-3:30 p.m. 21+. Tickets are $39.99.
