Lee is currently a Ph.D. student and graduate assistant in the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on the strategic, sustainable management of sport programs, events, and organizations to ensure healthy lives, promote well-being, and reduce social inequalities for all at all ages (i.e., Sustainable Development Goals 3 & 10). Before his doctoral journey, he earned his MA in Sport Management and BA in Physical Education at Seoul National University in South Korea.
