The crash injured six people inside the restaurant. Three sustained minor injuries; two were serious, but not life-threatening. And one person was treated at the scene and released. The driver was not injured.
Police were conducting an investigation at the time of the report, but they did not believe driver impairment was a factor.
We wrote about Duff’s in 2024, noting the fresh-never-frozen jumbo wings and a double-frying technique that keeps the skin crispy and the meat juicy. It also served some memorable poutine fries. Duff’s was founded in Buffalo, New York and has just three locations outside of that area, including the one in Southlake.
