Tonight the Libertine is serving up plates alongside five pints of “rare Saint Arnold beers.” The five-course menu, created by chef Roe Dileo, includes lamb spanakopita, smoked skirt involtini and a truffled cheesecake with bourbon cherries (which is paired with Bishops Barrel No. 1). Franconia is having a beer dinner this Thursday at the McKinney Rockfish location. The five-course meal costs $35 and includes Franconia beer-batter fish and chips along with five different beers. Wagyu Dinner at Ser
SER Steak + Spirits is hosting a Masami Ranch 10+ Wagyu beef dinner and 90+ rated wine dinner at 7 p.m. From the newsletter, “Originally designed to export back to Japan, Masami Ranch beef, hand selected and aged by Halpern’s Steak & Seafood, is the only certified 10+ domestic Wagyu, based on the 12-point Japanese Beef Marble Score system. Masami beef is considered the best available outside of Kobe region of Japan.”

The five-course meal is $150 per person, plus tax and tip. Reservations are available through OpenTable.

Underground Dinner with DJ EZ Eddie D
Chef DAT is hosting an underground dinner while DJ EZ Eddie D provides the musical ambiance. It’s like two shows in one. Dinner is at 8 p.m., $85 per spot and BYOB. RSVP to dat@chefdat.com.

Craft and Growler Grand Opening
Even though they opened a few months ago, Craft and Growler is ready to really embrace it with a grand opening this Saturday. Festivities include tapping of Lakewood Brewing bourbon barrel Temptress, Stone 12.12.12 Vertical Epic and Deep Ellum Festivus Firkin. DJ Rob will be there at 7 p.m. and Yellow Belly food truck from 5 to 9 p.m.

Promise of Peace Community Garden Brunch
On the first Saturday of each month the Promise of Peace (P.O.P) Community Garden (7446 East Grand Ave.), which is a nonprofit that “sees gardening as a way to bridge many of the gaps that exist in our neighborhoods, schools and lives,” will host a 1st Saturday Market and Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Yellow Belly food truck will provide the food, and in addition to local vendors, there will be free garden tours and garden classes.

FT33 will “get piggy with it” with Swine and Wine happy hour Tuesdays. Nibbles include pork-themed bar snacks like ciccioli with fried pickles and onions and pork liver mousse with wild oyster mushroom conserva and crostini.
