Until last week, all of Deep Ellum Brewing Company’s beer was only available on tap at bars or in kegs. But, a few months ago they scored a good deal on a bottling system and we can all now enjoy a local brew on our local couch in front of our local TV.

Next Wednesday, October 3, DEBC’s brewmaster Drew Huerter will pitch a tent at Sigel’s Elite (3209 N. Fitzhugh Ave.) from 5 to 7 p.m. for a tasting of their just-bottled Farmhouse Wit and Rye Pils.
Jasper Russo at Sigel’s also teased us, “With any luck there may be another surprise new bottling to taste as well!”
Hummm…
They’re also promoting this event next Wednesday as a bottle signing. So, if that’s your thing, bring a fresh Sharpie. No word on if chest signings will be allowed. (You could get it inked after and have the DEBC brewmaster forever on your skin.)
The Farmhouse Wit and Rye Pils are normally $10.99 a six-pack, and will be on sale $9.99 through October 6.
DEBC’s beer can be found at four area Sigel’s locations (Fitzhugh, the Quadrangle, Addison and Greenville Avenue) and also the Spirits Liquor Company in Deep Ellum.
