The Dallas Heritage Village is holding is a candlelight holiday event at Old City Park this weekend. The event runs both Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m.
There will be carriage rides along candlelit paths, pulled either by tractors or Nip and Tuck, whom I presume to be horses. In addition to traditional yesteryear costumes and entertainment, there will also be a bake sale, crafts and food throughout the park.
Local musicians, choirs and dancers will be on the three stages out at Old City Park.
For a splash of modern-day flare, several food trucks will also be at the event.
The event costs $12 for adults and $8 for kids. Children three and under are free.
Check the Dallas Heritage Village website for full details.
