Plus–the reason food industry events are such profitable charity–you’ll be doing a good deed. “A Sample of Love, a Sample of Taste” benefits the Dallas Chapter of The NAMES Project–the quilt that features the names of AIDS victims. The first-time event will be held at The Apparel Mart on September 17, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 520-ARTS or at the door.
