Juicy Joint is a popular Houston food truck known for its halal smashburgers and gourmet hot dogs. Its first brick-and-mortar location is opening this weekend at 4727 Frankford Road in Addison (just east of the Tollway). It’s one of several new burger spots in town, alongside NADC and Fat Burger.
A Rock Star Grand Opening
The weekend, Saturday, Dec. 6, and Sunday, Dec. 7, is a two-day grand opening celebration. The first 200 people in line on Saturday will receive a free smashburger, and after that, the entire Juicy Joint menu will be 50% while supplies last. Get there early. Doors open at 4 p.m.
There will be no free smashburgers on Sunday, but the menu will be 50% off from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., or while supplies last. Normally, burgers range from $12 to $15.
There will also be a massive in-store giveaway where two lucky people can win the newest iPhone 17 or “receive a $1,200 budget to spend on anything they choose,” according to a release we received.
To enter the giveaway, you must RSVP on Eventbrite and make a purchase. After completing the purchase, you’ll be entered into the raffle. Also, 93.7 The Beat will be there to keep the music flowing and the vibes good.
What’s Good Here?
The grand opening will have favorites from the Juicy Joint menu, including the Jalapeño Grove Sizzler made with two buttery Wagyu smash patties layered with crispy jalapeños and American cheese.
The classic is the Walk it Out with two buttery wagyu smash patties, American cheese, a signature sauce and pickles on a potato bun. The Eastside Sachi Dog is topped with fried onions, gochujang sauce and smoky chopped beef bacon.
For a lotta something sweet, they have a buttery caramel bliss or cookies’ n’ cream shakes.
Juicy joint is open from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday – Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
