My kids’ school a/c was broken by 8:15 this morning. It’s going be a long day for those teachers. But, hey, they’ve had three months off, so they should be good for it, right?
Saturday I texted a lady on the PTA, “Did I order a package of school supplies for so-and-so?”
She texted me back: “No, sorry. But, Walmart has their testicles on sale.”
Yes. Testicles. God bless autocorrect.
She apologized in her next text, and I wrote her back if it’s that kind of a PTA, maybe I’ll join after all.
City Street Grille is serving breakfast all week through Thursday in the Arts District. They get started around 8 a.m., although today they weren’t serving until 8:30.
SSahm BBQ is deep in the kimchee at the Centennial on Lovers just west of the Tollway for lunch, and off MacArthur in Iriving for dinner.
Gandolfo’s NY Deli truck is in the Arts District for lunch on Monday.
