Teresa Gets-it-Done Gubbins at Culture Map once again pulled a coup on Dallas restaurant scoop by breaking official intraweb news this morning of a second Il Cane Rosso location. Yes, a second red dog pizza parlor, with another custom-made Stefano Ferrara oven, which has already been delivered.
Jay Jerrier’s new spot is at the northwest corner of Gaston and Grand is planned to open in the Spring of 2013. According to Cane Rosso White Rock Facebook page, there’s “lots of space,” including a 3,000 square foot tree-covered patio in front. This spot will have also have tap wall, private event space and, hold your breath, a salumi and cheese bar.
