Globe Life Park

Home of our beloved Texas Rangers, this behemoth of a baseball stadium that seats 50,000 screaming fans has loomed over the city of Arlington since its debut in 1994. The architects clearly had their eyes on the baseball stadiums of yesteryear, so the classically styled ballpark has plenty of retro details like arched windows and elaborate stone carvings. Although the Rangers have come agonizingly close to clinching the World Series in recent years, the stadium is perhaps even more (in)famous these days for its absurd concessions creations, like the 2-foot hot dog known as the Boomstick and buckets o’ nachos served in plastic baseball helmets.
