Take one part punk, two parts R&B, mix with bass and you get Minneapolis hip-hop collective Doomtree. Featuring solo musicians Dessa, Sims, Mike Mictlan, P.O.S. and Cecil Otter (the latter of whom put out last year’s mash-up of the Wu-Tang Clan and Fugazi, aptly titled Wugazi), the five-piece combines forces to bring their whip-smart wordplay to Dan’s in support of their latest album, No Kings. Marijuana Death Squad and Human Groove Hormone open.
