The Big D Opry is a bimonthly country music showcase that takes place at Fellowship Dallas (9330 N. Central Expressway) and regularly stars some pretty big names from the world of regional commercial country. Tonight's version, starting at 8 p.m., also includes Nashville's multi-platinum, Grammy-winning Bryan White and Star De Azlan; the two will be available at a free autograph session today from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Habacker's in The Shops At Willow Bend. Also jam-packed into the 90-minute hoedown are Jolie Holliday, Bryan Cline, Brittnee Lee and Paul Eason. Tickets and more info here.
And while the Big D Opry hasn't announced the lineup for the Aug. 27 shindig, it's possible that one of the performers could be you. That's right: in case that American Idol tryout at Cowboys Stadium doesn't work out for you tomorrow, you can email biographical information along with music or a video to the Big D Opry's talent search.
