Tonight's Strange Boys/Coathangers/Bad Sports show at The Lounge On Elm Street has a poster that's just as awesome as the lineup, as mentioned yesterday in Poster of the Week. And hopefully, fans of the bands on the bill picked up on the very obvious hint dropped in that post about the possibility of bypassing the $8 to $11 cover charge, and have been awaiting this very post.

Well, however you got here, now's your chance to get into the show for nothin'. Parade of Flesh offered two pairs of tickets for the show for DC9 readers.

Each of the first two readers to e-mail me with the subject "Strange Boys, kill what's inside of you" wins a pair.

Update: Contest over. Congrats to the winners.

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
