Even if you're not a rich girl or a maneater, you've probably had one of Hall & Oates' songs stuck in your head for a considerable amount of time. These days, most people start to listen to the '80s duo purely out of irony, but once they dig into the band's brilliant back catalog (you know, the deep cuts), they begin to genuinely love them.

Hall & Oates know this. How? Well, because they're Hall & Oates, that's how. Whether you like them ironically or not, they know you're itching to see them in concert. They know you like going to see local Hall & Oates cover band The Rich Girls, but now you're ready for the real thing.

Which is why they'll be at Allen Event Center on Monday, September 10. Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, April 28, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
